Teams
There are 8 teams
in this NFL Fantasy Football League.
Fees
Each owner,
except for the Commish, pay's a $30 entry Fee. An
additional $5 is collected if the team would like to be part of the post season
games.
Roster
A team's active
roster consists of the following players: 2 Team QB’s, 4 RB’s, 2 TE’s, 4 WR’s,
2 PK’s and 2 Defensive/Special Team’s (DST). All 16 spots on your Roster must
be filled at all times. It is the owner’s responsibility to check their roster
each week.
Note: QB’s are
the NFL Team and not individual’s (I.E. You draft Josh Allen, you actually
draft all QB’s on the Buffalo team)
Note: FB’s and
HB’s are RB’s.
Players cannot be
moved, for instance, from RB to TE unless the NFL team has designated that
player at a different position.
At the end of the
Super Bowl, all rosters have zero players and Teams.
The Snake Draft
Picking where
each team drafts. Since we are starting over in 2024, it will be considered the
first year.
The first year
numbers will be drawn at the night of the Football Draft in August. That number
will become the team number for scheduling the week by week head to head games.
After the numbers
are drawn, the team drawing the number 1, will then pick where they would like
to draft their players/teams in the Snake draft. They will then draft at that
spot during the 16 rounds of the draft.
In Season two –
The team ending up in 5th place will get to pick where they want to
draft in the next season. Then the 6th place team
and 7th and 8th and then 4th to 2nd
with the Champ getting what is left.
The snake draft
is as follows:
Round 1 – Team
drafting in the number 1 spot then 2 then 3,4,5,6.7,8
Round 2 – Team
drafting in the number 8 spot then 7 then 6,5,4,3,2,1.
Rounds
3,5,7,9,11,13,15 like Round 1.
Rounds 4,6,8,10,12,14,16 like Round 2.
Starting Lineups
Lineups are due
before 10am on the day of the first game of the week (usually Thursday) and
9:30am on Thanksgiving Day. Lineups consist of 1-Team QB, 2-RB’s,
2-WR’s, 1-TE, 1-PK and 1-DST.
If no lineup is
submitted then the previous week’s lineup will be used. If it is Week One, then
the player drafted first will be used as the starter. If a player is on a Bye
then using the Football Reference Web Site – Fantasy Rankings – a player(s) will
be subbed. If because of Bye’s no player
is available then the previous weeks lineups will be used and an email sent
out.

each game results with a Win or a Loss or a Tie.
Trading
Fees
Each
team involved in a trade will pay $2.00. The number of players and/or DST’s in
a trade does not matter. At the end of the trade, Rosters must be as listed in
the Roster Section of the Rules.
Injured
Reserve (IR) Fees and Subs
$2.00
to sign a new player or TEAM QB
Each
sub is $2.25.
Players
can be placed on the IR only if the ESPN Injury Report has shown that that
Player is OUT or on the IR that week. There is no limit to how many Players can
be placed on the IR. You cannot place a
Defensive Team (DST) on the IR. The Team
QB can only be placed on the IR if the #1 QB Team shows he is OUT or on the IR
that week. All of this must be done before 10am on Lineup Day. Exceptions are
noted below.
You
can sub a player or Team QB #1 QB even after your lineup has been submitted as
long as that player or Team QB has not already played.
If
after you have submitted your lineup and a player or Team QB #1 status changes
to out or has been placed on the IR and the rest of that position is not
available because they are doubtful or out or has been placed on the IR then
you can move that player or Team QB to the IR and sign another player or Team
QB unless a player or Team QB is on your IR and is eligible to come off of your
IR. If you remove a player or Team QB from your IR then you must also release a
player or Team QB to make room for them. The player or Team QB noted above must
be placed into and remain in the lineup for that week. At the end of that
week’s games if you just signed a player or Team QB then that player or Team QB
will be released from your roster by the Commishes
Office and the player or Team QB that was placed on the IR will be moved back
onto your roster.
If
you have a player or Team QB on your IR and they are no longer eligible to be
on your IR then you must remove that player or Team QB from the IR at the next
submittal of your complete lineup.
You
can remove a player or Team QB from your IR after Thursday’s lineup as long as
that player or Team QB has not played yet and that you place him or the Team QB
into your lineup. Of course you have to
release a player or Team QB or move a player or Team QB to your IR to make room
for the player or Team QB being taken off your IR. If the player or Team QB at
the same position has an “Doubtful” or “OUT” or “IR” status, you can exchange
the two players or Team QB’s as long as neither player or Team QB has played
that week.
After
a player or Team QB has played that week you cannot use that player the rest of
that week.
When
the lineups are submitted in week 17, all players or Team QB’s on the IR must
be placed back on your active roster or released.
Lineups
submitted with a non-healthy player in your lineup
NOTE:
QB’s are not checked by the Commish
A
non-healthy player is defined as Doubtful or Out or on
the IR using the ESPN Injury List on Lineup Submittal day.
If
a Non-Healthy player is in your lineup, the Commish
will send an email to that owner’s team.
The
email will state that you have 1 Fumble against you if ---------
(1) The Player does not play that week and
(2) The owner does not sub for that player that week
The
next Fumble you will get a yellow flag and you pay $2 if (see above)
If
the player does play that week or the owner did sub for that player that week
then the Fumble goes away
Free Subs
Subtract the team's wins from the first payoff team's wins (each
tie is a 1/2 win). If the result is equal to or greater than the weeks left in
the season, then that team receives free subs during that week.
The
BYE Week
If
all of your players at a position, including the Team QB and DST position, have
the same Bye Week, you have two choices. Play without a player or Team QB or
DST at the position or when the lineups are submitted release one and sign
another to take their place.
Free
Agent Signings and Fees
Since
there are no salaries involved, all Players and Team QB’s and DST’s that are
released become Free Agents. There is a $2 fee for every player or Team QB or
DST claimed off of the Free Agent list. This fee includes the player or Team QB
or DST being released or the player or Team QB being placed on the IR to
compensate for the additional player. The Free Agent list consists of all
players and Team QB’s and DST’s that are not on any of our teams.
If
more than one team is signing the same player or Team QB or DST then the team
lowest in the standings signs the player or Team QB or DST. If this is the
first week of the first season then the team that had the lowest draft pick in
Round 1 signs the player or Team QB or DST. If this is the first week of season
two and beyond then the team lowest in the previous seasons
standings signs the player or Team QB or DST. If this is the
second week or beyond then the team lowest in the previous weeks standings
signs the player or Team QB or DST.
You
can release/sign a DST on Lineup Day only.
Prize
Money
The
interest income from the prize money is kept by the League Treasurer.
There
will be 4 payoffs in the 8 team league, 1st place will receive 34%
of the pot, 2nd place 28%, 3rd place 22% and 4th
place 16%.
Rule Changes
If any of the
rules are changed or a new rule is passed during the season, then there must be
a 100% agreement of the owners for the rule to become effective immediately.
The NFL Post
Season
Before the draft,
if you paid an extra $5, you will be entered into the NFL Playoffs. All Players
and Team QB’s and DST’s on your roster at the start of the Final Week will be
involved in the NFL Playoffs. From the Wild Card Playoffs through the Super
Bowl your players and/or Team QB’s and/or DST’s could be accumulating points.
All Playoff Games will be added together to end with a Total. The Winner takes
all. If there is a tie then the pot is split. The pot is $40.
Breaking Ties In The Standings
If two or more
teams are tied with the same number of wins, then the following procedures will
be used. After placing one team higher in the standings, always return here
with the remaining tied teams. Note: Ties will be considered as a 1/2 Win.
The following
steps are for tied teams that have not played against any of the other tied
teams otherwise go to step 1 of Section 2. Note: When going from one step to
the other, only take the best teams to that step.
Section 1
Step 1 – Compare
the tied teams and the team with the higher total points scored so far this
season is placed higher in the standings. If the higher teams are still tied
then go to the next Step.
Step 2 - Take the
teams from Step 1 and total all of the wins/losses with their common opponents.
Take the team with the best record and place them higher in the standings. If
there is still a tie then go to the next Step.
Step 3 - Take the
teams from Step 2 and total all of the point spreads in all of their games. I.E. A Team won by 35 and lossed
by 22 to another team then they would get 13 points. Take the team with the best point spread
total and place them higher in the standings. If there is still a tie then go
to the next step.
Step 4 - Take the
teams from Step 3 and if this is for week one then use the standings from the
previous year otherwise use the standings from the previous week. Place the
team that was higher in the previous standings higher in today's standings.
If any of the
tied teams have a head to head record with any of the other tied teams then use
the following steps. Note: If the head to head record is a Tie(s) then 1/2
point will be added to each team in lieu of 1 point to the head to head record
winner.
Section 2
Step 1 - Take all of the tied teams and add their
wins and losses against each other. Add the total wins and losses and take the
best won/loss record and place them higher in the standings. If more than one
team has the best win/loss record then go to the next
step.
Step 2 – Take the
teams from Step 1 and add the total wins and losses against each other and take
the best won/loss record and place them higher in the standings. If more than
one team has the best won/loss record then go to the
next step.
Step 3 – Take the
teams from Step 2 and add their point spreads against each other. I.E. A Team won by 35 and lossed
by 22 to another team then they would get 13 points. Add all of the point
spread totals with all of the tied teams and take the best point spread total
and place them higher in the standings. If there is still a tie then go to the
next Step.
Step 4 – Take the
teams from Step 3 and Use their total points for the season and place them
higher in the standings. If there is still a tie then go to the next Step.
Step 5 - Take the
teams from Step 4 and if this is for week one then use the standings from the
previous year otherwise use the standings from the previous week. Place the
team that was higher in the previous standings higher in today's standings.
